The Watson’s Rising Star Scholarship was created to support students who demonstrate leadership, perseverance, community involvement, and future potential regardless of GPA. Our mission is to invest in future leaders by providing opportunity, encouragement, and recognition to students determined to make a difference in their communities.

Awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, perseverance, character, and future potential regardless of GPA.
Athletic Leadership Award
Recognizing students who lead through service, athletics, mentorship, school involvement, or community impact.
Hudson Willis Character Award
Supporting students who are committed to creating positive change within their schools, churches, neighborhoods, and communities.
Sarah Winn Award
Investing in the next generation of leaders through opportunity, encouragement, education, and recognition.

At Watson's Rising Star Scholarship, we believe in recognizing the true potential of our, even when their GPAs don't tell the whole story. I remember watching students I mentored get passed over for scholarships they truly deserved, which highlighted the need for initiative. We aim to support those who demonstrate leadership, resilience, and determination, regardless of their academic scores. This is about celebrating those who show up and keep pushing forward, proving that potential is measured by actions, not just grades.
